Hailey Hutson is a second-generation attorney whose courtroom instincts were tested in national competition before she ever filed her first case. Now practicing at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner in Houston, Hutson concentrates on personal injury matters — automobile accidents, catastrophic injuries, explosions, products liability, and wrongful death claims — bringing competitive trial training to a firm with generations of plaintiff’s work behind it.
Her advocacy credentials were earned the hard way. On South Texas College of Law Houston’s nationally recognized mock trial team, Hutson competed across the country, reaching the semifinals of the Syracuse National Trial League and the finals of the Syracuse National Trial Competition. She sharpened her courtroom skills further at Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocates in St. Andrews, Scotland, and her peers and professors entrusted her with leadership as Co-Chair of the Board of Advocates — the accomplishment she counts as her proudest from law school. Best Lawyers has already placed her on its 2026 Ones to Watch in America lists for both Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs) and Product Liability Litigation (Plaintiffs).
Raised in Friendswood, Hutson earned her B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2020 and her J.D., with a certificate in Trial Advocacy and Dean’s List honors, from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2024. Her practical training started early: during her first year of law school she clerked for the Honorable Donna Roth of the 295th Harris County Judicial District Court, seeing civil litigation from the judge’s side of the bench, then clerked at a prominent Houston personal injury firm before joining Abraham Watkins. Watching how a trial court actually evaluates cases gives her a grounded sense of what evidence moves the needle — and what arguments fall flat with judges — before a client’s case ever reaches that stage. That first-year clerkship solidified her commitment to litigation and to client advocacy as the center of her career.
Hutson fits injury victims who want a determined, thoroughly trained young advocate with major firm resources at her back — particularly in car wreck, product defect, and wrongful death cases where trial-ready preparation drives settlement value. Clients who appreciate a lawyer who grew up around the profession and treats it as a calling will find that in her. Abraham Watkins offers free consultations, and no fee is owed unless the case is won.
