Learn about your options
LawyerHelpNow publishes general legal guides and provides an attorney directory and inquiry service. It is owned by James R. Calloway and a group of collaborators who aim to help people understand their options and choose an attorney.
Send a brief inquiry
Provide the basic contact and case information requested by the form. Depending on the form, this includes your name, email address, location, the type of legal issue, and when the incident happened. Do not include Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account information, or confidential case documents.
Your information is forwarded to lawyers
LawyerHelpNow receives your inquiry and forwards the information you provide to lawyers so they can evaluate it and contact you. The article intake form first sends the inquiry to the designated LawyerHelpNow intake email recipients. A submission does not guarantee that a lawyer will respond, accept the case, or be available in your location.
You decide whether to hire a lawyer
Ask the lawyer about licensing, relevant experience, availability, conflicts, fees, and case expenses. Any representation agreement is made directly with that lawyer or firm. Submitting the form does not itself establish an attorney-client relationship.
What is free—and what is separate
LawyerHelpNow does not charge visitors to use the website or submit an inquiry. Legal services are separate. Any consultation fees, legal fees, or case expenses are arranged directly with the attorney. Ask for the agreement in writing, including how expenses are treated if the case is unsuccessful.
Make an informed choice
A directory profile or prominent listing is not a guarantee of quality or results. Check an attorney’s current licensing information independently. You can ask LawyerHelpNow about the recipient of your inquiry and any commercial relationship relevant to the introduction before deciding whether to proceed.
Privacy and time-sensitive matters
Read our Privacy Policy before submitting personal information. Forwarding an inquiry does not automatically erase email copies or records held by service providers or receiving law firms. Contacting LawyerHelpNow does not stop or extend a filing deadline. For time-sensitive advice, contact a qualified attorney promptly.
