LawyerHelpNow publishes legal information and helps visitors send inquiries that may be forwarded to lawyers. This page explains the information involved and the choices available to you. LawyerHelpNow is not a law firm, and an inquiry through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Information you provide
When you complete an inquiry form, you may provide your name, email, phone number, location, the type and timing of a matter, and a short description. If you contact us by email or use a partner inquiry form, we receive the information in that message or form. Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical records, or confidential case documents in an initial inquiry.
How inquiries are handled
We use inquiry details to review your request, communicate with you, and, where appropriate, forward the details to lawyers so they can evaluate the inquiry and contact you. Submitting an inquiry is free. If you hire a lawyer, the representation agreement and legal fees are arranged directly with that lawyer. A response, referral, or representation is not guaranteed.
Our forms are not all configured identically. The guided questionnaire on our Free Legal Inquiry page is configured to email the LawyerHelpNow intake inbox. Some other existing intake forms also save an entry in the WordPress database and send copies to designated intake email recipients. Email copies, hosting or form-provider records, and any records held by a lawyer who receives an inquiry may remain after submission. We cannot erase records maintained independently by a law firm.
Website and service data
Our hosting, email, form, security, and analytics services may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, page requests, cookies, and message-delivery records to operate and protect the site. See Privacy Choices for available choices and request instructions.
Sharing and retention
Inquiry information may be accessible to LawyerHelpNow’s designated intake recipients, service providers that operate the website or deliver email, and lawyers to whom an inquiry is forwarded. We keep records as needed for intake, support, site operation, and applicable obligations; no single fixed retention period applies to every system. A lawyer or service provider may have its own retention practices. Do not assume that deleting a website entry removes copies elsewhere.
Your choices and requests
To ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion where available, or raise a privacy concern, contact help@lawyerhelpnow.com. Include enough information to locate your inquiry, but do not send sensitive documents by ordinary email. We may need to verify a request and may be unable to delete information held independently by a lawyer or another service. You can also avoid submitting a form and browse the published guides.
