Lacey Turley Most came to personal injury law through some of the hardest corners of the legal system. Before joining Dallas’s Turley Law Firm, she worked on death penalty cases in Florida, helped survivors of domestic violence and other violent crimes navigate the U.S. immigration system, and served people who could not afford legal representation. That history shapes how she practices today: she views her job as clearing obstacles — insurer tactics, procedural hurdles, court-system confusion — from an injured client’s path to recovery.
A Dallas native, Most handles a range of negligence claims and has notable experience with sexual abuse cases, a practice area that demands legal skill and genuine sensitivity in equal measure. Her scholarship reflects that commitment: she authored a published article examining how religious-freedom arguments have been distorted to shield child abusers and those who enable them, which appeared in Accessible Law, and her law review comment on involuntary medical treatment was published by the University of Miami Law Review.
Her academic record stands out even among accomplished attorneys. Most graduated from the University of Miami School of Law magna cum laude, in the top 5% of her class, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She served as Articles and Comments Editor of the University of Miami Law Review, earned the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement for the highest grades in her legal writing and conflict of laws courses, and received the John F. Evans Memorial Scholarship for her performance in the school’s Litigation Skills program. She was chosen as the Richard Lapidus Litigation Skills Fellow, coaching other students in trial practice, and served as a Writing Dean’s Fellow. She earned her bachelor of arts from the University of Miami with general honors, majoring in Latin American Studies.
In the Dallas legal community, Most has been a member of the Patrick E. Higginbotham Inn of Court, serving as a Barrister from 2021 to 2024 after an earlier term as an Associate.
Most is a strong choice for injury victims who want an advocate with elite training and a service-driven background — particularly survivors of sexual abuse and clients whose negligence claims require careful, compassionate handling. Consultations at the Turley Law Firm are free, and injury clients pay no fee unless their case succeeds.
