Jenny Fogel

Jenny Fogel’s career answers a question injury victims rarely think to ask: who trains the lawyers handling my case? At Thompson Law Injury Lawyers, that job belongs to Fogel, who serves as the firm’s Training Coordinator for new hires while also working across a range of legal roles. Her fingerprints are on the client experience firm-wide — and her standard is explicit. Her credentials are top-tier. Fogel earned her Juris Doctor with honors from The University of Texas at Austin, and while still in law school she founded an organization providing economic empowerment services to survivors of domestic violence — an early sign that advocacy for vulnerable people would define her career. After graduation, she deliberately studied the other side, joining Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) as a litigation associate to learn how large corporations defend lawsuits from the inside. She then pivoted to public service as a staff attorney at Central Dallas Ministries (now CitySquare), delivering a wide range of pro bono legal help to people who could not otherwise afford a lawyer.

That mix — big-firm defense training plus years of frontline service work — is uncommon among Dallas injury attorneys, and it shows in how she approaches clients: sophisticated about corporate litigation tactics, but oriented entirely around the human being in front of her.

A lifelong North Texan, Fogel grew up in Arlington and lives in Dallas. Her service instinct extends well past the office: she volunteers with the National Charity League and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, and organizes Thompson Law’s annual blanket drive for the homeless across Dallas-Fort Worth. She and her husband Larry have two children, Ryan and Zane, both multi-sport athletes, plus three rescue dogs.
